Peas in a Pod {Arizona Family Photographer}

I did a quick shoot with my sister this past weekend.  It started to rain on us too!  But we waited it out and still had lots of fun and great shots.  My sister is such a natural.  Even though she is younger than me  I wanted to do everything with her. It was as if I was the younger pestering sister.   She didn’t like that.  I used to make fun of her hair because it was SOOO thick and big!  And our mom cut and permed all of my sisters and I hair like Micheal Jackson………even my Dad!!!  Yes imagine a small asian man with a curly fro.  He got a newsboy hat too like the one Paul McCartney wore in The Girl is Mine video.  So funny. Anyway my sister’s  hair short is just a big poofball.  We used to play Super Twins all the time.  She would turn into water and I would turn into a duck.   I would sit on her as she slid down the stairs. I gave her a carpet burn. We made a plethora of chocolate candies by dipping rocks into mud.  We would try to catch mice with dog food. Make a car out of cardboard and a skateboard. We would swim for hours and see who could stand on an inner tube the longest without falling into the water. We would put a bucket on our head and go underwater while the other  would stand on it, because you know you can still breath.  Color a whole bunch of pictures and take stills of them on the video camera and then play them back and it would be our own little cartoon. We shared a room and clothes until we were like in high school.  I used to charge her 25 cents per item she borrowed because she ALWAYS borrowed my clothes.  She stitched her initials on all her socks because I would always take them.   I am laughing to myself right now.  I have so many memories as a kid and all invovling my little sister.  My sister and I are really close in age and used to fight A LOT.    But we have now grown,  matured, and  have our own families.  She has become such a beautiful, smart, and super funnny woman and supportive friend.   I love my lil’ sister and even though she isn’t much younger than me I will always want to protect her.  xoxo

Anyway isn’t my sister so pretty?  My niece is her twin.

My sister always tells me my children are quirky like me.  hmmmmm, really?  REALLY? What about yours? Yeah.

She is so beautiful!

This one is my all time FAVE!  Love, LOVE  it……..and look at my sister’s hair.  Not fair.  She has Kate Beckinsale hair.  That is what happens when you make fun of people and tease them about their hair.  That’s why I just make fun of myself , hoping for a backfire!
