This is my Katie. My Vegas roomie. I met her last August at Jasmine Star Workshop. We both were the only ones who did not stay at the hotel with everyone else. She stayed at her friend’s home and I with my husband and children at my father’s home. So we didn’t get that extra “summer camp” bonding that everyone else so quickly formed. So this time at WPPI we did just that. And a bond definately formed!!
We are both moms. Our kids are the same ages, except she has an extra kid! Hopefully I will catch up soon! She is confident and independant. Yet also let me persuade her to go out dancing all night too! She really was the perfect roomie. I loved seeing her drive and thirst to soak in everything there. She would go to class after class. Taking notes and pictures of overhead projections with her Iphone. And you should have seen her at the tradeshow! Bags and bags of all the things she wanted to learn and get information on. Just that eagerness and excitement to learn. I loved it. And it was inspiring. She, my interweb friends, is the real deal and that is what I so loved the most about her!
On the last day I spruced up her hair and played makeup and went out for a couple headshots since she in the process of updating her website. Introducing Katie Baldi !!
Thank you Katie!! I miss you already. Can’t wait to see you again and meet the family!
