What a wonderful small intimate wedding this was. The perfect setting for this ultra easy laidback couple. This was my first destination wedding and I had such a good time. And a lot goes to such a wonderful bride and groom. I was super excited for this wedding for months. AND I had my lovely friend , Katie, 2nd shooting with me. She becomes more special to me every time I see her!
I had never been to Tahoe and heard so much about it. It is absolutely breathtaking! It fit J & O’s personalities perfectly. Their love was just like Tahoe, naturally beautiful. No need for the large festivities. Just simple. Real. Them. I can see why they chose this beautiful place to commit their lives together………… and join at the hips……wink…..:)
The day started at Sessions Salon where they have up to 5 or 6 bridal parties a weekend! Tahoe is a popular place to get married!

These two were so laidback that they actually got ready together! So we didn’t do a First Look naturally, just straight into the portrait session. I LOVE that they allotted over an hour for their pictures. We were able to shoot in 3 different locations, one being a field behind Denny’s that Katie and I spotted while we were getting milkshakes and chicken strips to go that morning!
