It’s been one of those days……..

I am just having an emotional sentimental day, I tell ya!  We woke up this morning to our lil chit-lens squished in our queen-size bed with us.  Yes, I said queen.  People always laugh at us when they see our bed and ask why is it so small. Most people I know have Kings or California Kings.  We used to sleep on a FULL!  Funny too because we went to Vegas once and had this Huge bed and we hated it! We have to touch when we sleep. So with me, my husband, and the kiddos in the bed this morning I felt a little like Charlie in the Chocolate Factory. Squished, but feeling so incredibly happy and proud. We had my son’s refresher swim lesson and he is a ROCKSTAR! And that is what his teacher said, not me!  Feeling happy and proud.  Then we go to see Charlotte’s Web for the Harkins Summer Movie Fun.  My 5YO looks at me with her eyes welling up when she see that the other pig won the blue ribbon and asks me “Mommy did Charlotte keep her promise? Did she?!? Did she?!?”.  She has such a wonderful heart that little girl.  And she really understands too.  Feeling happy and proud again. 

So I come home and read my google reader and see that my friend is having a LOVE NOTE contest. You all should enter.  I don’t know what the prize is, but it’s fun and she’s fabulous. As soon as I saw that I thought to myself, “oh I got lots of those”. My husband is a huge note writer.  I have a pile. He leaves them posted to my car door so I won’t see it until I leave some where. I hesitated about blogging this just because I don’t want him to kill me!  Eeek!  But heck, Feeling so happy and proud to be his wife.  I don’t even know if he reads my blog regularly. We will see.  I know my MIL does. You have a great son. My favorite one is one he wrote before we were married. And yes baby, it is the most beautiful life!

So as you can see it has just been one of those emotional days for me. I guess this is my LOVE NOTE to them (and the whole wide world!). My family.  Who I love more than anything. Who make me oh so happy and proud. No place I would rather be but here. I have the best babies and partner in the world! xoxo~ Love you guys.

UPDATE:

Okay so I guess I did it wrong and wasn’t supposed to write about love notes but leave them too!! So my daughter and I  doodled some and gussied them up and S.W. A. K.!  We put them in his laptop.  Excited for him to find them tonight when he gets home!  This is Fun!  My daughter has now written 5 more love notes while I typed! Hahaha! Now you try! Let’s help Jeanette start a LOVE NOTE REVOLUTION!!!
