Fab Five- Things that keep me warm!

My UGGS.  I have had these babies since fall of 2003. Before Jessica had every pastel color. I remember the first time I wore them to the airport on the way to Vegas with girls from the salon I worked at.  One of them asked What are those??  I said UGGS. She said well they’re UGG-LY! Ha! I remember reading about them being what Austrailian surfers wore.  I like surfers.  I looked them up online and saw they were $200!!  But I wanted them really bad so I got kid ones!  That is why mine are shorter than the regular UGGS and I LOVE them that way.  I have short legs and the regular ones would be way too clunky on my feet.  So I opted for the shorter ones at I think like 80 bucks.  Still good after 6 years and the warmest and comfy shoes EVER!

My FAVORITE warm Ugly Christmas Sweatshirt.  I have had this baby since high school.  If my memory serves me right, which I wouldn’t guarantee, I wore it as jammies at one of my friend’s house and went home in it in the morning.  I am not sure which friend and no one has asked for it back.  Maybe they were trying to get rid of it??? But it has since become my favorite winter sweatshirt!  As soon as Thanksgiving is over it comes out of the closet!  My husbands HATES it!  Once Ricki Lake was having a Sexy Bedtime MakeOver episode and he told me I needed to go on there and get rid of my sweatshirt! I was asked this year to borrow it for a Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and she got denied because she was too ugly!  Sad!  But I am actually wearing right now as I type.  I still have another week before she gets put away after New Year’s!

Vietnamese Pho.  Yum. Warm in my tummy. My mom made some on Christmas.  All of my California readers know what I am talking about. This stuff is the Pho Shizzle.

Coffee. HOT coffee.  I recently have become a coffee drinker.  I LOVE the taste of coffee but never was able to drink it because of my migraines.  But I have slowly built up my tolerance and use a lot of cream.  I can only have one cup a day but enjoy it thoroughly! My new fave is Krispy Kreme.  In Arizona, since all of the stores are owned by the same person, they offer specialty drinks.  And my friend brought me a nonfat white chocolate mocha once and I have been hooked ever since.  And it is only 99 cents!!!!!

My family!  We had lots of warm cuddling this weekend!  So fun!  This year was a really great Christmas for us.  Hope it was for you too!
